Comments
When you leave a comment on our site, the data entered in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent, are collected to help us detect spam comments.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to see if you use it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible publicly next to your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the site, we advise you to avoid uploading images with EXIF GPS data. Visitors to your site can download and extract location data from these images.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you will be offered to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so that you do not have to enter this information again if you leave another comment later. These cookies expire after one year.
If you visit the login page, a temporary cookie will be set to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will set up several cookies to save your login information and screen preferences. The lifespan of a login cookie is two days, and the screen option cookie is one year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login cookie will be retained for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted.
When you modify or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not include personal data. It simply indicates the ID of the article you just edited. It expires after one day.
Embedded Content from Other Sites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles…). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited the other site.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, and track your interactions with the embedded content if you have an account connected to their website.
We encourage you to read the privacy policies of these third-party sites before navigating.
Use and Transmission of Your Personal Data
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
Data Retention Periods
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows automatic recognition and approval of subsequent comments instead of leaving them in the moderation queue. After 10 years, Primever anonymizes the comments (i.e., it can no longer identify the person who made the comment) to retain them indefinitely. In these processes, Primever does not transfer your data outside the European Union.
For accounts that register on our site (if applicable), we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. All accounts can view, modify, or delete their personal information at any time (except for their username). Site managers can also view and modify this information.
Your Rights Over Your Data
Here is a description of your rights and the technical means available to exercise them.
If you have an account or have left comments on the site, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including the data you provided. This does not include data stored for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
To exercise your rights, you can contact PRIMEVER – GDPR Contact – Min Agen – 47550 BOE or email rgpd@primever.com.
For any request, please include the email address associated with your client account on the site (or use it in an email) as well as your first and last names.
We will respond within one (1) month of receiving your request. This period may be extended by two (2) additional months considering the complexity and number of requests.
